Please Be Careful
A Halloween treat to avoid
Earlier this month, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced a recall of Sherwood Brands Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate Coins due to positive test results for melamine.
Sherwood Brands Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate Coins, is sold in 840 gram containers containing 240 pieces per container bearing UPC 0 36077 11240 7 and lot code 1928S1.
In Canada, this product is sold nationally through Costco stores and may also have been sold in bulk packages or as individual pieces at various dollar and bulk stores.
The U.S. Food and Drug Adminstration hasn't yet issued an advisory.
***This is the same chemical that tainted the milk in China and caused a lot of the infants who drank this milk to have kidney failure.***
Have a safe and fun Halloween!
